Poems of Movement and Belief

The bringing together of two seemingly different spheres, which I started in the Poems of Hearing and Time, is continued as an approach in this series. The links, however, between movement and belief are more tangible, somehow. Most belief systems have connections in ritual to movement, and the physical act of passing from one state to another seems to me to be at core dependent on belief. I am trying to open up these notions to incorporate different aspects of both, for example, poems may look at movement through, from a to b, things which move, ritualistic movement etc. All things which tell their tales.

Follow the tabs on the drop down menus for the poems (sometimes things like Kindle don’t do this well – I’m on it…).
